The Little Squirt Playhouse
It’s not the largest children’s playhouse in the collection, but I’ve included it because of its range of play features. The 6 x 6 Little Squirt Playhouse includes three window openings and two flower boxes so your child can add curtains or flowers to make this house truly their own.
There is a ladder to climb up, an outdoor balcony from which to keep a look out for pirates on the horizon and a slide for a quick getaway should Captain Hook try to attack! If he does, there’s an optional sandbox, which is built underneath the playhouse (perfect for keeping it dry), where they can bury the treasure. Inside, there’s room for a small number of children to play, eat their picnic and plan their next adventure.
The Pennfield Cottage

The Stratford Schoolhouse Playhouse
The Stratford Schoolhouse Playhouse makes me think of Little House on the Prairie. What a fantastic building this is, ideal for letting the kids play at school or to use as a wonderful clubhouse for gatherings with friends. It’s genuinely a really good size (8 x 10 feet) and shape for your kids to set up their own space for doing all the things they want.
There’s room for most types of furniture in here and, as it’s a very good height, it opens up lots of possibilities for games and activities of all kinds. As for features, I really like the little bell tower, the split door and the attractive windows. As there are so many windows, this is a light and airy space for your children to play. It would certainly make a centerpiece of any garden.
The Sunflower Playhouse
For a smaller budget, there’s the fun, charming, and magical, 6 x 9 Sunflower Playhouse. Built like a log cabin, this playhouse will give your kids a sizeable place to play where they can explore their imaginations or disappear for awhile with their friends.
The Sunflower children’s playhouse is crafted from safe and durable Western Red Cedar and is strongly built so Mr Wolf can huff and puff at this playhouse all day without your little piggies coming to any harm! Its features include three functional windows as well as two flower boxes. It has real Double-Dutch doors and a designer shingled gable that adds to the ‘cottage in the wood’ theme.
This playhouse comes with an optional sandbox and raised platform which are sure to double the fun. Ideal for three little pigs, three bears or girls in red coats visiting their grandma.

I chose to feature the Maddash Junior Log Cabin because it’s suitable for your kids as they get older. Built like a real log cabin, it has all the features of a playhouse that a child could want: a split door, original design features, real working windows and a pitched roof.
However, the inside space is ideal for them as they grow from small children, simply wanting somewhere to play and use their imaginations, to teenagers, wanting somewhere away from the parents where they can hang out with their friends. As you can see from the photograph, the inside can be tailored to suit a child of any age.
