The Sara Victorian Mansion Playhouse
Made for our little princesses, the Victorian style Little Cottage Sara Victorian 8 x16 Wood Mansion Playhouse is a real mansion when it comes to playhouses. For kids, it’s huge, inside and out, and features 17 working windows, two doorways, a turret for all those Disney role-plays they’ll want to be doing and it even has it’s own loft with a ladder to climb up. You can easily fit in chairs and a table as well as lots of toys for them to play with.
Lauren’s Cottage immediately makes you think of Hansel and Gretel. It’s the ideal place for children to dream up those fairytale fantasies – perfect to help them explore their imagination to the max.
This cottage is built using safe and durable Western Red Cedar (not gingerbread, unfortunately) and features: a classic Dutch door, a fabulous dormer roof, and a traditional gable window with shutters that comes straight from Hans Christian Andersen. It has four working windows and flower boxes that can easily be customized to your child’s liking. Upstairs, it has a cute loft which is perfect for exciting adventures and even sleepovers if it takes your fancy.

The Little Squirt Playhouse
It’s not the largest children’s playhouse in the collection, but I’ve included it because of its range of play features. The 6 x 6 Little Squirt Playhouse includes three window openings and two flower boxes so your child can add curtains or flowers to make this house truly their own.
There is a ladder to climb up, an outdoor balcony from which to keep a look out for pirates on the horizon and a slide for a quick getaway should Captain Hook try to attack! If he does, there’s an optional sandbox, which is built underneath the playhouse (perfect for keeping it dry), where they can bury the treasure. Inside, there’s room for a small number of children to play, eat their picnic and plan their next adventure.
The Pennfield Cottage
The 9 x 8 Wooden Pennfield Cottage Playhouse is a very picturesque and cosy place for your kids to play and would make a charming feature in any backyard.Your child will love the realistic details, from windows that open to a child-sized door. There’s room inside to let them make it their own space and fill it with the things they love and there’s also the cute veranda where they can sit outside in the shade on a warm afternoon watching dad mow the lawn.
The Grand Portico Wood Mansion
At 10 x 16 the Grand Portico Wood Mansion Playhouse really is a home from home for your kids – and what a stylish home it is too. With its incredible detail and design, it has to be the ultimate playhouse. The incredible features include real working windows, a loft with ladder and transom windows. flower boxes, a pillared entrance and two turrets.
As you can see from the internal picture, the inside, with 180 square feet of extremely well-lit space would provide your children and their friends with more than adequate room to live out all their fantasies and adventures.
At around $9,000 dollars, it’s certainly not cheap, but it will certainly be the talk of the neighborhood.
The Stratford Schoolhouse Playhouse
The Stratford Schoolhouse Playhouse makes me think of Little House on the Prairie. What a fantastic building this is, ideal for letting the kids play at school or to use as a wonderful clubhouse for gatherings with friends. It’s genuinely a really good size (8 x 10 feet) and shape for your kids to set up their own space for doing all the things they want.
There’s room for most types of furniture in here and, as it’s a very good height, it opens up lots of possibilities for games and activities of all kinds. As for features, I really like the little bell tower, the split door and the attractive windows. As there are so many windows, this is a light and airy space for your children to play. It would certainly make a centerpiece of any garden.
The Sunflower Playhouse
For a smaller budget, there’s the fun, charming, and magical, 6 x 9 Sunflower Playhouse. Built like a log cabin, this playhouse will give your kids a sizeable place to play where they can explore their imaginations or disappear for awhile with their friends.
The Sunflower children’s playhouse is crafted from safe and durable Western Red Cedar and is strongly built so Mr Wolf can huff and puff at this playhouse all day without your little piggies coming to any harm! Its features include three functional windows as well as two flower boxes. It has real Double-Dutch doors and a designer shingled gable that adds to the ‘cottage in the wood’ theme.
This playhouse comes with an optional sandbox and raised platform which are sure to double the fun. Ideal for three little pigs, three bears or girls in red coats visiting their grandma.

The Maddash Annex Log Cabin
Whilst the Maddash Annex Log Cabin doesn’t seem as glamorous as some of the USA available models, it is an extremely sturdy, multi-space, garden building, All of the design details have been considered carefully to provide a light and natural play area for children of many ages.
From the moment you enter the stable door the internals will look impressive to any adult let alone a child with a vivid imagination for play. What impresses about this playhouse is its large size and multi-room design. It even has an integrated large upstairs bunk. All these features ensure that there is maximum play potential for any child or group of children. The Annex has 3 main play areas including an entrance room, lower floor and a bunk area which that looks down over the lower floor, giving a sense of an internal mezzanine.

The Dutch Barn Playhouse
The Dutch Barn Playhouse will certainly put a smile on your children’s faces. It’s a large indoor space with plenty of room for play and for putting in seats and small tables to make it a real house to play in. There’s also a bunk area which is ideal for putting a small sofa or a couple of bean bags for your kids to crash out on and while away the time.
This playhouse is suitable for both girls and boys, for ages ranging from 3-12 years and is a great option for their friends to enjoy as well. There’s also the option for a garden fence so that they can have their own little outdoor area to play in as well.
The Maddash Junior Log Cabin
I chose to feature the Maddash Junior Log Cabin because it’s suitable for your kids as they get older. Built like a real log cabin, it has all the features of a playhouse that a child could want: a split door, original design features, real working windows and a pitched roof.
However, the inside space is ideal for them as they grow from small children, simply wanting somewhere to play and use their imaginations, to teenagers, wanting somewhere away from the parents where they can hang out with their friends. As you can see from the photograph, the inside can be tailored to suit a child of any age.
